During the occasion of 74th Independence day we have our chief guest for the day, Mr Abhay Jere, Cheif innovation officer, AICTE and the guest of honour Mrs. Apeksha Haldia, Founder, Zyka ka tadka & a NITIE alumna. and obviously the attraction of all was the "Mahamandi" of Mandi Sir to propagate the "Vocal the Local" mission.

Mr. Abhay zere is an inspirational speaker urged to all of engineers to come up with new technologies, new researches and patents.He shared the information about the patents that china, america and India is having and recent year stats goes like this: China- 1.5 million patents, America- 3,51,403 and India- 12387.

This shows how shallow the research and innovative fields are in India. He urged to all of Engineers to be thoughtfull and to be visionary with have highly refined problem solving skills. Then only we can take the India ahead in terms of  technical and research field. Everyone is expecting the same from the new Education Policy.

Mrs Apeksha Haldia also gave her example how she left the job at dream company p&g. She took the vision of her mother by starting the you tube channel named as Zayaka ka Tadka, where homemakers, moms and working women alike can share their cooking skills, become a food author and in turn get the recognition & appreciation that they truly deserve in our society. It is also a platform where you can find the cooking wisdom of yesteryear's as well as the innovation of modern times.

In this meet she told about her startup that she has just started making videos with only a 5k cost andriod and curretly has more than 8 lakhs of people connect to them through different social handles and its still growing. Surely this is bold steps to bring the art of our moms from their to everyone's kitchen to  taste the food of  India in every house.

Her motivation was to be independent in thoughts and to have that emotion that will be e+motion= energy in motion to chase the dream which we all are bereft of.
